Teeth cleaning is very important for many reasons which is why we clean ours every day. This is not always practical with our dogs.

Plaque starts building up 2-3 hours after eating, it is comprised of saliva, food and bacteria. Tartar is hardened plaque and can form above and below the gum line. Tartar is a breeding ground for bacteria which can affect the gums and cause gingivitis. It can push the gums away from the teeth, resulting in receding gums. The bacteria from tartar can be absorbed into the bloodstream and can cause disease in other organs.

Dogs are extremely good at hiding pain, just because your dog is eating properly it doesn't mean they are not in pain.
Ultrasonic teeth cleaning helps to prevent these problems. How does it work?

  1. Piezo Chip in the brush heads producing 96,000,000 sound waves per minute
  2. Ultrasonic waves react with the specially formulated toothpaste and water to create millions of micro bubbles which cannot be seen by the naked eye. These implode and generate shockwaves which clean the plaque and debris from between the teeth and gradually break down the tartar, so it becomes brittle and easier to flick off
  3. Ultrasound penetrates 12mm into the gums, healing them and maintaining oral health

Recommended frequency after initial plaque removal at least every 2-3 months - convenient to add on to a groom - ideally starting from eruption of adult teeth
